Little White Churches are icons throughout the United States. They can be found in the center of town, but just as often out on some country road. When they were built, it only took a relatively few families to support such a church. This is no longer true and some of the more rural buildings are in some phase of disrepair. In some towns they have evolved into something else like a community center. Often two can be found within a block or two of each other, and even next door.
I am collecting images of these buildings to illustrate the diversity in design, within the limitations of the small dimensions of these churches. Additionally, I am hoping to preserve their memory as over time they will start to disappear.
